Granite Staters Shine in Rhode Island @ the 33rd Brown Invitational!

With teams from as far south as New Jersey and New York the 33rd Brown Cross Country Invitational lived up to its Northeast Championships title.  New Hampshire once again represented! Below are the highlights!

  • Coe-Brown Girls won the Championship Race with the 3rd fastest cumulative time in meet history.
  • Elisabeth Danis led CBNA with a blazing 17:32 runner-up finish. This time was 10th fastest in meet history and a school record.
  • CBNA enjoyed being at full strength with the return senior Meg Scannell as their top 5 all were sub-19:00.
  • Exeter’s Jaqueline Gaughan also broke 18 with a 17:55 effort!!!
  • Londonderry Boys were the top NH team in the Championship Race, making the podium with a 3rd place finish.
  • Timberlane’s Liam Kimball looked like Brown Championship-179-2he is rounding into great form as he was the top Granite Stater placing 7th in 15:22.  Londonderry’s Cam Dickson was next for NH in 15:23.
  • Also breaking the 16:00 barrier were Jared Kane (Londonderry) and Justine Carbone (Exeter)
  • Merrimack Girls also made the podium by placing 3rd in the Girls Varsity Division 2 Race!

SCHEDULE CHANGES TO BOTH STATE MEETS

8:00am D1 schools arrive (Buses drop off and then park at Plymouth Elementary school)

9:00 Field Events start

10:30 Running Events start

1:15ish D1 meet ends

1:15-2:15 D1 buses pick up teams in the circle 

3:15pm D2 schools arrive (Do not arrive early. Buses drop off and then park at Plymouth Elementary school)

4:15 Field Events start

5:45 Running Events start

8:30ish D2 meet ends

8:30 D2 buses pick up teams in the circle

A gap has been included between sessions in case of a delay of some kind during the D1 meet. Incoming / Outgoing Buses can NOT be allowed to overlap like last year.
