2016 Merrimack Valley Invite: Results, Highlights, Photos, Vids

What a day!  The weather finally gave MV Invite a break and wow did the athletes respond!  Great performances everywhere!

Boys Results

Girls:

• Oyster River’s Dominique Twombly wins the 100 (12.22 meet record time) and 200 (25.73), while anchoring the meet record breaking 4×100 meter relay team (50.18)
• Lebanon’s Kathy Merchant wins both the Discus (116’6″) and Javelin (126’10”)
• MV’s Kristie Schoffield defends her title in the 1600 (5:09.80), places 2nd in the 400, anchors MV’s winning 4×400 meter relay team!
• CBNA’s Brooke Laskowsky wins 800 (2:20.17), anchors 4×800 to the win and the 4×400 to 2nd place.
• Pelham’s Morgan Walsh wins the 400 (59.69) and places second in the 200 (26.45)
• Lebanon’s Corinne Kennedy breaks her own meet record in the 100 Highs (14.90)

Boys:

• Inter-Lakes Cam Daly wins the race of the day in the 3200 (9:17) with the help of Oyster River’s Patrick O’Brien (9:19) and Hopkinton’s Dom Repucci (9:21).  All three broke Repucci’s meet record of 9:30!
• MV’s Brandon Wood wins the High Hurdles and 300 meter Hurdles in 15.12 and 41.61 respectively
• Hopkinton’s Nick Fleury wins the 100 and places 2nd in the Long Jump (20′.25″)
• Kearsarge’s Troy Davis wins the High and Long Jump in 6’4″ and 20’1.5″ respectively
• Kingswood’s Hunter Miller drops a 1:56 anchor leg to lead his team to a record shattering 8:11 win in the 4×800 only to win the 800 later in 2:01.
• Kearsarge’s Zach Astle chucks the Shot Put 52′!
