NH Track and Field was well represented at the 49th Annual Dartmouth Relays this past dsc_0212weekend. Lebanon’s Corinne Kennedy led the Granite State with wins in the high hurdles and 600 as well as a 2nd place in the High Jump.  Once again, the multi-time state champion and record holder lay claim to being one of the best pure track and field athletes in the history of our state.

Bedford’s Leya Salis took home the 1k title winning in a meet record time of 2:53.25.  Salis does owe a bit of thanks to Raymond’s Anna Harmon who led through 500 meters finishing second in 2:59.09 as well as Pinkerton’s Britney Johnson who placed 3rd in 3:00.97.  For good measure, Bedford took home the 4×400 title winning in 4:08.17.

Exeter’s Jackie Gaughan and BG’s Caroline Fischer picked up where they left off in cross country going 1-2 in the 2 mile 10:43.95 to 10:51.65.

Trinity certainly made their presence known as senior Thomas Oliver took home the High Hurdles title in 7.76.  Teammate Tim Zepf placed 4th in the 600 in 1:24.26 while new teammate Sebastian Eaton placed 5th in the 300 in 35.76. Those three combined with Stephen Duckett to win the Sprint Medley Relay in 3:36.07.

Alvirne’s Noah Bellomo placing 2nd in the 1k to DJ Principe in 2:33.20 .  Rarely contested in NH, North’s Triston Delicema and Jordan Buckmire placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Triple Jump with Delicema soaring to 47’00.25″!
