Friendly reminder to Coaches!
With Meet of Champions entries now closed, coaches are encouraged to make scratches for those athletes entered in events they are not going to compete in! This meet deserves full fields in celebration of our great state in its most competitive meet! This is the second year of the new entry procedure and the hope is to match or surpass the quality of last year’s awesome meet. So please email scratches to Lancer Timing (click on ‘Lancer Timing’) by Wednesday at noon!

This process is better than the previous one, making coaches petition to get some of the best athletes into the Meet of Champions. In the past, many events hosted fields that were only partially filled, hardly the best of the best. While the new procedure puts the responsibility on the coach to enter athletes, if those athletes are truly the best, then having the coach be responsible to enter them is the smartest way to go.
Nothing better than seeing 16 to 18 athletes battling it out for State supremacy.
