  1. Not sure what you mean about ranking D2, but the championship previews usually come out the week of the championships. This weeks rankings has seven D2 schools in it, five girls teams, two boys.

  2. I’m just wondering why Keene keeps moving down if they haven’t run any races that would warrant it. I think they’re still the second best team in the state.

    1. Great comment, and one we welcome! To answer your question, when a team does not face other ranked teams during the entire season in a meaningful meet, it becomes difficult to truly rank them. When this happens the committee has to rely on results that are from NH meets in the sense of comparison to other teams on the same course. We use the data that is available to us, especially from the results sent into the site. This coupled with how strong other NH teams have looked in previous weeks result in the current rankings. Bottom line, all of this will be settled at Divisions and Meet of Champions, when Keene faces other top ranked NH teams in a big meet, head-to-head. Final rankings matter most!
