When did you start competing in track and field?
6th grade at Keene Middle School.
What is your favorite track and field event? What are your personal bests?
My favorite event is the 1000 in indoor, but I’m probably better at the 1600.
Describe your favorite competition memory:
During the indoor season this year when we (our 4×800 team) found out we broke 10 minutes. It was an amazing feeling being able to share my excitement with three other girls.
If you could do any event in track and field, which one would it be and why?
High Jump because I used to do it in middle school for fun.
Describe your favorite workout:
800, 400, 200 workouts.
How does your coach motivate you?
He always tells us that we belong in the race and that the other competitors are as nervous to race against us as we are to race against them.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
Scotland or Ireland (or really anywhere in Europe).
What is your go-to pre-meet meal?
Chicken Parmesan
Do you have a favorite prerace song?
I love stuff like “Whipping Post” or “Cherry Pie” for the bus ride up to a meet, but I like listening to songs from Newsies right before my races.
What motivates you most to do well?
The feeling you get when you reach a goal or get a PR.
What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
Tightrope walk across the Grand Canyon.

If you go to college, do you plan to compete in track and field? And where?
I’m planning on going to college, and hopefully I’ll be able to compete wherever I go!
What is your favorite thing about Track and Field?
The community it builds. I love being able to talk to people from all over the state!
