Valhalla Running Club and Mascenic cross country will be hosting Junior Olympic development races this Sunday, November 3rd, beginning at 11am. The races will take place on the high school’s Path to Valhalla XC course of Champions located at 171 Turnpike Road in New Ipswich, NH.
The day will kick off with a 2000 meter race (U8) at 11am, with a 3000 meter race (9&10, 11&12) and then a 4000 meter race (13&14.) High school athletes would be able to compete in the 4K event.
There is NO COST to the event and the race is open to JO teams and individuals. Parents would be allowed to run the various races (however they will be discouraged from “pacing” their kids).
The start/finish area is located off the access road from Highbridge Hill Elementary School (on the right) in the baseball field at the top of the hill. The courses allow for excellent spectating.
