Describe how you are handling the COVID-19 related situations – remote learning, training in isolation, etc…Div II State Championship 2019-253.jpg

With the Covid epidemic it took me a little while to get situated before working out. When I’m at home finding the motivation to workout is also a struggle but I make the best of it with what I have. Online schooling was different and it was a change I wasn’t particularly ready for. I missed seeing my friends and doing a lot of the in school projects.

When did you start competing in track and field?

I started Track and Field in either 6th or 7th grade of middle school and continued through high school.

What is your favorite track and field event?

I enjoyed running the 100 in the spring and the 300 in the winter. My 100 pr was close to 12 seconds while my 300 was close to 42 seconds.

What are your personal bests?

I enjoyed running the 100 in the spring and the 300 in the winter. My 100 pr was close to 12 seconds while my 300 was close to 42 seconds.

Describe your favorite competition memory:

Being a Sophomore in winter track and being on the 4x160m team with all seniors had a lot of stress on me when I was still learning and perfecting my ability to do better. We ended up placing and running first in one of the qualifier meets.

If you could do any event in track and field, which one would it be and why?

I wish I got the chance to do discus. Since I’ve done mma for 8 years I’m good on my feet, I feel like I would be able to get the footwork down when spinning to throw the disk farther.

Describe your favorite workout:

Pushups. Works your triceps, shoulders and your stability. There are also many variations of the push up.

How does your coach motivate you?

When he says he believes in you and that you can do better. Really helps drive you to do better each time you go to practice.

What motivates you most to do well?

Wanting to be the best.

If you go to college, do you plan to compete in track and field? And where?

I plan on attending UNH, although I will not be participating in Track and Field.

What is your favorite thing about Track and Field?

The Weight Room.

What is your go-to pre-meet meal?

Dunkin Donut sandwiches when driving to UNH meets for winter Track, egg sandwich for home meets in the spring, and whatever snacks I brought with me for away meets after school.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?

Japan.

Pre-Meet Music?

Through the Fire and the Flames

What would you do if you could not fail?

I’d do everything I possibly could.
