As this year has been in flux with coaches, administrators, AD’s, parents, athletes, helping to figure out what, if anything, will constitute the 2020 Cross Country season, Runners Alley has been working to keep up to date and adjust our ability to get the athletes set up for success.
Working with our friends at NHCC, our family brands in MA and CT, and our managers, we have created three weeks of one-on-one “Gear Up Sessions” at our stores. Starting Monday, August 17th, through Friday, September 4th, students can sign up for 30 minute fit sessions on weekdays in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Concord. In these sessions, we will work to make sure trainers, spikes and any other gear is fit properly, along with our 20% “team night’ discount.
Each session will be held in areas for appropriate social distancing and to make sure we can accommodate both our cross country runners and our regular customer flow.
We will be limiting the session for up to 3 people to make sure a parent or sibling can attend, and will be requiring proper use of masks and hand sanitizer.
To make sure we are able to plan our staffing, you will be able to book sessions up to 24 hours in advance.
Students and parents are welcome to come during our normal business hours without an appointment, but will be helped within the normal flow of our first come, first serve traffic. Given limitations in staff and store capacity, there might be a que, especially on weekends. Please budget some extra time accordingly. For a summary of our operating procedures, please head to our website HERE.
For those who are unable to come in for an in-store session, we will also be offering virtual fit sessions. These sessions will be done remotely via zoom and will allow products to be sent directly to student-athletes. To learn more about virtual fittings, please head to our website HERE.
