A Pic and A Quote #25: More Than Any Other Sport

More than any other sport, cross country rewards dedication and quality training.  More than any other sport, in cross country you can determine you own level of success.” – Jeff Johnson

And…More than any other sport, it can be conducted safely during a pandemic with certain adjustments.  🙂  – NHCC

Editor’s Note: Due to the graciousness of Jeff Johnson, John Goegel and others, we are carrying over a series begun during the track season on our sister site, newhampshiretrackandfield.com .  For those of you that don’t know, Jeff Johnson was employee #1 of Nike.  He actually is the one responsible for naming the company.  Fortunately for us, he was also a world class photographer of our great sports in the 1960s and 1970s during which he captured thousands of sports photographs.  We are honored and thankful for their choice to use our sites as their medium for sharing their passion.  We hope our presentations can do them justice!

      1. I don’t think it was in RI. I am pretty sure PA didn’t run in RI near that time.
I think it is the early part of the last stretch to the finish at Derryfield.
I have a picture of myself from the next year that has the same tree that looks like a backwards K in it that is over the guy two behind Kevin.
