After a 2 year hiatus (like many events), the NHCC All Star Banquet made a triumphant return last night at The Carriage House in Bedford. The new venue and food were spectacular! Founder and master of ceremonies Larry Martin was in fine form as he prepared 60 speeches for each of the athletes (10 per gender, per division) honored at the 20th edition of the banquet. Each honored athlete received a plaque and long sleeve, moisture wicking shirt. All-State recipients (top 10 in the entire state) also received a running figurine trophy. Other awards distributed included NH Runner of the Year to Souhegan’s Chloe Trudel and Coe-Brown’s Aidan Cox. NH Teams of the Year were Dover Girls and Coe-Brown Boys while the Coaches of the Year were Hopkinton’s Rob Rothe and BG’s Tom Cassetty. Fantastic event Sunday night. I’ve been to a bunch of these but this was the best! Great venue, awesome food, tremendous vibe. Great job by all and great to be back.
