LIVE RESULTS & PERFORMANCE LISTS

This coming Saturday Sanborn High School, last year’s and this year’s host of the NH Meet of Champions, will be hosting theUntitled photo Inaugural Sanborn Invitational.  After 20 plus years hosting the Merrimack Valley Invitational, the Pride decided it was time to pass on the event much like Londonderry did for them over 2 decades ago.  With it being one of the larger invites in the state, we look forward to seeing Sanborn’s version this Saturday.  NHTF will be there in full force to cover the event.  We will bring you a livestream, photos, interviews!

So to prepare for this, below is what to watch for!  Good luck to all and congratulations to Sanborn!

Sprints

Beginning with the 100, Coe-Brown’s Anushka Chavda and MV’s Seth Baylus are the top seeds.  Look to Con-Val’s Tasha MacNeil and John Stark’s Brianna Langdon to challenge her while Leb’s Nyeodi Punni and Kearsarge’s JJ Davis to attempt to give Baylus a run for his money.   Both Chavda and Baylus are top seeds in the 200 as well.  Landgdon is the 2 seed in the 200 on the girls side with Windham’s Braeden Manti sits as the 2 seed on the boys side.

Seeded at 1:00.27 in the 400, Monadnock’s Liliana Chirichella is the heavy favorite. Host team’s Sanborn’s Brady Ash is tops on the boys side at 50.39 with Davis ranked #2 at 51.11.  In the 800 look for Kate Burrus (St. Thomas), Kearsarge’s Molly Ellison, Hopkinton’s Cailey Stockwell and Oyster River’s Tessa Brown to battle it out.  Gilford’s Patrick Gandini will be doubling back from the 1600 but at 1:58.46, expect him to set the pace.  Don’t rule out Windham’s Michael Killian or Monadnock’s Mitchell Hill either.

Distance

Oyster River’s Haley Kavanaugh is the heavy favorite in the girl’s 1600, but don’t count out Bishop Brady’s Katie Palmeteer or Gilford’s Catherine Stow.  Gandini begins his day with the 1600 and is a comfortable favorite.  Battling for podium spots will be Oyster River’s Dillon Labonte and Hill.  In the 3200 on the girls side, Hopkinton’s Hannah Bennett is the top side while Leb’s Birhanu Harriman is seeded #1 on the boys.  Harriman will have his hands full as Oyster River’s Labonte, and the Khalil brothers of Sanborn are also entered.Untitled photo

Hurdles

The top 2 seeds in the lady’s High Hurdles are Plymouth’s Katherine Luehrs and Coe-Brown’s Natalie Sicard while Luehrs teammate, Cole Ahern is the overwhelming top seed on the boys’ side.  The 300 Hurdles should be a pretty tight one as Hanover’s Olivia Trummel and Oyster River’s Erin Carty are both seeded at 50 point.  However, the boys have 4 athletes seeded in the 44 second range with Monadnock’s Jack Lorenz, MV’s Tyler Wallace, Windham’s Henry Ntoro, and Conant’s Austin Poikonen.

Jumps

Expect the High Jump to be a great competition as 7 jumpers are seeded 4’8″ or higher.  The boys side sees a clear competition however as Conant’s Ben Sawyer and Hanover’s Ian Solberg are seeded at 6’4″ and 6’2″ respectively.  Coe-Brown’s Makena Lee is the top seed in the girls pole vault while Pelham’s Joshua Parent, Oyster River’s Ethan Bessette and Coe-Brown’s Anders Larson share the top seed on the boys’ side.

Untitled photoIn the Long Jump, Hopkinton’s Grace Hall and Coe-Brown’s Josephine Malloy are the top 2 seeds with Sanborn’s Lillian Gibby the 3rd seed.  Conant owns the top 2 seeds on the boys side with Ben Sawyer and Ethan Vitello both checking in at over 20′.  The Triple Jump sees MV’s Elizabeth Barrington and Hopkinton’s Hall as the top 2 seeds over 35′.  Vitello is the top seed in the Triple at 42+.

Throws

Newfound’s Paulina Huckins is the top seed in the Shot, but expect Coe-Brown’s Natalie Riley to take a shot at the win as well.  Goffstown’s Antonio Kapos is the top seed in the boys shot at over 50′!  Riley is the top seed in the girls discus, by a lot while Leb’s Tanner Ames and Conant’s Garrett Somero are the top 2 seeds on the boys’ side.  Hopkinton’s Elise Miner, Con-Val’s Tasha MacNeill are tops in the javelin while Oyster River’s Jayson Blaisdell is the top boys seed.

Good luck to all!  We are planning to LIVESTREAM!
