Hot weather brought some very fast times at the 2022 Merrimack Invitational.  Multiple meet records went down.  The Exeter girls bested the field amassing 96 points ahead of runner up Concord (88.33) and Pinkerton (81).  On the boys side it was Pinkerton (69) winning a close battle over Londonderry (64) and Nashua North (55).

  • Brianna Danis of Pinkerton broke the meet record in the discus 133’8” AND the shot put 39’5.75”! Both season bests.
  • Merrimack Inv-22.jpgSydney Lavelle of Exeter broke the meet record in the 300 hurdles 45.26 AND the long jump 18’8”.  Both seasons bests for her.
  • Soraya Ross of Nashua South won both the 100 (12.47) and 200 (25.71).  She also anchored the winning 4×100 relay team that broke the meet records.
  • Jordan Wheaton of Pinkerton established a new meet record in the 100 hurdles with a blazing 15.10.
  • Clara Knab of Exeter got the win in the 400m in 1:01.21 and anchored the Exeter girls to the win in the 4×400
  • Dantia Braccio of Nashua North cruised to the win in the 800 in 2:21.13.
  • Sheldyn Fisher of Coe-Brown got the victory in the 3200 in 11:26.89.
  • Zoe Arakelian of Portsmouth took the win in the high jump 5’0”.
  • Erin Eastwood of Exeter took down a solid field in the Pole Vault 10’0”.
  • Ayva Mullin of Concord had a lifetime best for the win in the triple jump 36’11”.
  • Only a freshmen, Emma Zeblisky of Coe Brown got the win in the Javelin in 107’0”.

  • Jacob Spezzaferri of Pinkerton took down the 100 meters in 11.02 just missing the meet record. He also anchored the winning 4×100 meter team.
  • Aidan McDonald of Salem came out of heat two in the 200 to get the win in 22.79.
  • Zachary Smith of Pinkerton won the 400 in 52.47.
  • Sean Clegg of Londonderry used a strong second lap to get the win in the 800 in 1:57.84.
  • Jon Murphy outleaned his teammate for the win in the 1600 in 4:20.08.
  • Luke Brennan of Pinkerton had a strong kick in 3200 to get the win in 9:34.50.

  • Rory Olsen of Nashua South continued his steller season in the 300 hurdles narrowly missing the sub 40 mark with a 40.11.
  • Portsmouth used a strong anchor leg to finish first in the 4×400 in 3:32.17.
  • Sami Witta of Nashua South cleared 6’4” in the high jump for the win.
  • Samuel Epstein of Merrimack broke the meet record on his home soil with a 14 foot clearance in the Pole Vault.
  • Jack Sullivan of Nashua North went 20’2.5” in the long jump for the win.
  • Jacob Cowan of Coe Brown went 41’1” in the triple jump for the win.
  • Toby Brown of Nashua North scored the win in the shot put with a 48’4”
  • WiIl Jacques of Souhegan won the discus (156’6”) and the Javelin (161’0”)
