HOKA Athlete of the Week! Oyster River’s Haley Kavanagh

With the final cross country races for the year in the books on NH soil, it’s time to look back at the Meet of Champions, and in this case, also look ahead. Taking runner-up at the meet of champions and D2’s, this sophomore will be our fastest returner next year; our female HOKA athlete of the week is Haley Kavanagh of Oyster River.

Haley ran her race Saturday and wasn’t tempted to break away from the chase group early. At the two mile, she still had her teammate Mackenzie Cook by her side. In the backwoods everyone started making moves and she stayed with Lee as they passed Fisher. Kavanagh won the kick battle taking second overall, and first for underclassmen.

Congratulations to Haley, our HOKA Athlete of the Week.
