HOKA Male Athlete of the Week! Keene’s Chris Stevens

Each week we will be highlighting one male and female athlete who stood out with their cumulative performances of the week and/or had one jaw-dropping pop of a mark.

12 28 2022 meet-443This week, on the boys’ side, Keene’s Chris Stevens had quite the 2 meet performance winning the 55 meters and 300 meters at both meets he competed.  The junior began the week in spikes at Dartmouth winning the dash in 6.63 and 300 in 37.08, both the top times in the state of NH.  He followed that up with 2 more W’s at Plymouth on Saturday in 6.68 and 37.37 respectively.  Perhaps those performances are more impressive since they were in flats and not spikes. Further, if you were in attendance or caught the live stream, you saw his anchor leg of the winning 4×200 relay.  His enthusiasm was certainly contagious!  In his interview he is not shy about his goals as he stated Dominique Worsely’s state 55m record (6.38, 2004)is one of them!  Congrats to Keene’s Chris Stevens, this week’s HOKA Male Athlete of the Week!
