Each week we will be highlighting one male and female athlete who stood out with their cumulative performances of the week and/or had one jaw-dropping pop of a mark.
To demonstrate the jaw-dropping performance of this week, consider the height of your typical doorway. Now imagine being able to job over the top of the doorway which is typically 6’7″. That is exactly what Hanover’s Ian Solberg accomplished this past weekend at UNH. He cleared 6’7.75″. This not only gives him the top clearance in NH, but he is essentially tied for 3rd in the entire country! Also, check out the current state record of 6’9″ set by Milford’s Dwight Barbiasz in 2008.
