NHTF Shout-Outs! Yes we do the HOKA Athlete of the Week, but that celebrates just 2 athletes. The Granite State typically has so many more stand out performances worthy of mentions! Similar to the point in interviews when the athletes give quick shout-outs, these will be quick! Additionally, we hope this becomes more of an interactive post where you all comment below if you think someone should get a shout-out who did not for their weekend performance! Enjoy!

Shout-Outs: Weekend 2/4-2/5/2023
Girls
- Pinkerton’s Jordan Wheaton took back the top time in the Hurdles posting an 8.37!
- Pelham’s Reese Nicolosi dropped the fast time in D2 in the Hurdles with a 9.00.
- Bedford’s Mikita Barry lowered her state leading 300 meter standard to 42.02.
- Dover’s Anique Poulin won the 600 with a big PR of 1:42. Not to be outdone, Bedford’s Samantha Ducharme came out of no where to finish right behind Poulin launching herself into contention to score at the state meet as well.
- Concord soph Ella Goulas once again won 2 events in her meet on Sunday, the High Jump (5’2″) and Long Jump (15’10.5″).
- Milford’s Keely Giordano set up a showdown of sorts as she matched Kennett’s Aida Wheat for the top 55 Dash time with a time of 7.54
- Merrimack’s Alexis Best dropped a bomb in the 55 Dash in 7.33! Matter of fact, check out the crowd chasing Best as South’s Soraya Ross and Iyana Braswell as well as Portsmouth’s Mariam Nada and Lily Jenkins are hot on her heels! Can’t wait for this one next Sunday!
Boys
- Nashua North’s Toby Brown threw a BOMB of 58’1.5″ in the Shot Put! While this is shy of the state record, it broke the PEA Facility Record! Congrats to Toby!
- Londonderry’s Sean Clegg expanded his range rolling the 300 meters in 36.83 out of one of the slower heats!
- Keene’s Chris Stevens keeps winning taking both the 55 and 300 meters this past weekend.
- Coe-Brown’s Jamie Lano ran the 25th best time in the US and best time in NH in the 1000 meters flying through the line in 2:31.86, breaking the CBNA school record and he remains the leader in NH. Portsmouth’s Avery Crowell was second in 2:34!
- Continuing to be consistent, Pinkerton’s Matthew Morrison took the 55 Hurdles in 8.19.
- Souhegan’s Cole Henderson, top hurdler in D2, won again in 8.57.
- Michael Dettore continues to dominate the Long Jump by winning yet again with a leap of 20’8.25″ at PEA.
