Congratulations to Londonderry’s Sean Clegg and Coe-Brown’s Aidan Cox for winning New England titles in the 600 meters and Mile respectively. Both ran intelligent races, while Clegg rolled the final lap of the 600 to win in 1:21.62, Cox took the lead in the mile on the 3rd of 8 laps steadily pulling away in a controlled effort to cross the line in 4:14.74.  Once again, congrats to both as NE Titles don’t just happen!

Hanover’s Lucien Gleiser was the next highest finisher as he placed 2nd in the 1000 meters in 2:30.62 claiming the runner-up slot with another great kick! Pinkerton’s Jordan Wheaton placed 3rd in the High Hurdles in 8.38.

Bedford’s Annika Scott also had herself a day as she claimed All-New England honors in 2 events.  While she placed 5th (8.65) behind Wheaton in the High Hurdles, she long jumped 17’11” good enough for 4th in all of New England!

Bedford’s Jacob Redman also claimed a podium spot placing 5th in the mile in 4:19.28 as did Hanover’s Ian Solberg, who placed 5th in the High Jump clearing 6’5″.  And finally, also placing 5th was Anique Poulin of Dover in the 600 clocking 1:38.27.

Congrats to all!  Seems as if NH will have a presence at this coming weekend’s Nationals!  We will have more on those meets later this week.
