Pop Up Coverage! Seacoast League Middle School Championships!

PHOTOS

Building up to next weekend’s Middle School State Championships at both Derryfield (D1/D2) and Coe-Brown (D3/D4), we made an impromptu decision to partially cover this long standing middle school league which includes Barrington, Northwood, Nottingham, Deerfield, Epsom, Chichester, and Pembroke. Matter of fact since 2002, this league has contributed to 76 state championships at the high school level (thanks to Jim MacKenzie for the research). Student-athletes matriculate to Coe-Brown, Pembroke, Concord, Oyster River, and Dover.

Yesterday saw the ladies of Epsom win with 57 points in a tight battle with Barrington which scored 61 points. Nottingham’s Hilary Wennberg won individually followed by Pembroke’s Caitrin Bergeron, Deerfield’s Ani Purinton and Barrington’s Lily Travis respectively. The boys’s side saw Barrington take the title with 33 points, 12 points better than Pembroke’s 45 points. Barrington’s James Travis took the title followed by Northwood’s Broden Cox, Pembroke’s Will Lecain and Nottingham’s Finn Polzin respectively.

Check out the action on our race videos!!! Congrats to all – see you next week at the Middle School State Championships!!!
