HOKA Athletes of the Week! Exeter’s Eli Cross & Keene’s Sullivan Sturtz

Yep! That’s right, we are double dipping with Keene’s Sullivan Sturtz. But when you place an improbably 4th at the New England Championships running the race of your life in the process, we really had no other choice. Sturtz was the NH story individually at New Englands this past weekend. He ran smart and gutsy simply hanging in the front pack and then the chase pack all the way through the line. All this racing maturity as just a sophomore.

Perhaps even more improbable was Exeter freshman Eli Cross. Placing 21st at MOCs, who would have thought she would improve at New Englands to 16th in 18:29? Who would have thought she would be the 3rd best runner from NH? Perhaps only her coaches and Cross herself! Garnering All-New England honors in the process, Cross has a a very bright future in a program which knows how to develop young runners.

Congratulations to both Eli Cross and Sullivan Sturtz, this week’s HOKA Athletes of the Week!
