Final Shout-Outs for ’23! Results! Replays! Week of 12.30.2023! Updated Photos!

Week #3! Officially mid-season! We had to give it a shot to livestream both sites and 4 total sessions at both Plymouth State and UNH! With multiple holiday meets in both Massachusetts and Maine, opportunities for others to shine arose! What a tribute to the WTL! Below we have links to all 4 livestreams and of course our shout outs! And yes we do leave some out there for you to shout! If after reading this, you feel as if we left some one off who is worthy of a shout-out…DO IT!!! Comment below! D1 Shout Outs!

Girls

  • Concord’s Caroline Cooper made her debut at UNH in the Dash and the 300 meters. Her times of 7.52 and 43.43 ranks 4th and 3rd respectively in D1.
  • The 1k at UNH was fast producing 4 of the top 5 times in D1. Bedford’s Mikita Barry rolled to the victory taking over the #1 slot in 3:04.55. Pinkerton’s dynamic duo of Contessa Silva (3:05.38) and Isabelle Groulx (3:05.71) are now sitting at 3rd and 4th in D1 while Barry’s teammate Samantha Ducharme is now at #5 with her 3:10.70.
  • Barry also won the High Jump clearing 4’10” (tied D1 #2)
  • Salem’s Lily Thomas is now #4 in D1 as she won the 1500 at Plymouth in 5:05.78 while North’s Laura White won at UNH in 5:08 good for #5 in D1.
  • Bedford’s Anika Scott is still on fire in the young season as she blazed to the victory in the Hurdles with a D1-leading 8.39. She also won the Long Jump at UNH with a D1-leading 16’9.25″

Boys

  • Top D1 Sprinter, Keene’s Chris Stevens was the double winnah in the Dash and 300 meters with clockings of 6.73 and 36.50.
  • Pinkerton’s Matthew Morrison also had himself a day at UNH as he won the Hurdle showdown with Bedford’s Christopher Chong 7.84 to 7.92. For good measure up at PSU, Keene’s Wayne Crowell took over #3 in D1 with his 8.28 win. Morrison also won the Dash in 6.73.
  • Bedford’s Jacob Redman ran one of the fastest 1ks ever for a high schooler at UNH’s short track. Rolling solo from gun to tape, Redman crossed in 2:32.68 good for Division 1 #1 time by almost 10 seconds for the Northeastern commit.
  • South teammates Dante Castellano and Cameron Patronick placed 2nd and 3rd up at PSU in 4:18.71 and 4:20.28 good for #3 and #4 respectively in D1.
  • Memorial’s Chase Burris joined the 20′ club with his 20’3″ good for #3 in D1.
  • North’s Darius Smith extended his D1 lead to 52’9″!

Division 2 Shout Outs!

Girls

  • Newmarket’s Alanna Hagen made a statement at UNH in the 1k rolling to a D2 leading 3:05.73. To her credit, Bow’s Hannah Palowski also won her race at PSU breaking the proverbial tape in 3:14.91 good for #2 in D2. Her teammate, Julia Hou is now #4 as she ran 3:17.78.
  • Mascenic’s Emma Schaumloffel is now #5 in D2 in the 3k clocking an 11:55.77. Her teammate Erin O’Shea, who is #4, won the race.
  • Don’t look now but the High Hurdles are heating up in D2 as is Oyster River’s Erin Carty. She blasted a 9.05 in qualifying; however it was Pelham’s Reese Nicolosi who won the event in 9.09 in the final ranking her at #3.
  • Milford’s 4×200 took over the top spot in D2 rolling to a 1:57.45 at Plymouth.
  • Sanborn senior Paige Chesbro jumped to #2 in the shot put with her 31’1.25″ at UNH.

Boys

  • Belmont junior Damien Sanborn placed 2nd in the morning session Dash in 6.77. Remember this name.
  • BTW PCA’s Tim Kelm won again.
  • Hanover’s Lucien Gleiser won the 600 in a D2 #1 of 1:26.62. Raymond’s Clayton Cramer, the new kid on the block, ran 1:29.57 for #3 in D2 while Goffstown’s Logan Cote rolled to a 1:30.17 for #4.
  • Gleiser actually DOUBLED back to a D2 #2 in the 1500 with a 4:16.0.
  • Souhegan’s 4×200 took over the top spot in D2 in the 4×200 with a 1:37.58.
  • In field events, Souhegan’s John Katsel also joined the 20′ club and is now #2 in the Long Jump while Kennett’s Owen Arias took over the top spot in the shot with a 44’8.75″ toss.
