HOKA’s Athletes of the Week! Central’s Harriet Barber & Winnacunnet’s Oliver Duffy!

Sometimes 1 insane performance can garner our attention when considering HOKA Athlete of the Week. Well, insanity actually occurred this past weekend at UNH when Harriet Barber won the 300 meters. Why is this insane you ask? Barber usually wins in 300 and 400 meter races. She has become the tops in these events in NH. What was insane was considering she ran 41.21 on the 160 meter short track! This will get real interesting as she approaches the end of the season when she can wear spikes!

Winnacunnet’s Oliver Duffy also had himself a day up at Plymouth Saturday. His “head-turning” performance certainly came in the long jump when he popped a winning leap of 21’8.75″. Yes this is a state lead. He also won the High Hurdles in 8.20 good for 3rd best in the state. Oh and by the way, he placed 3rd in the High Jump clearing 5’10” which ties him for 2nd in the state.

Congratulations to Harriet Barber and Oliver Duffy, this week’s HOKA Athletes of the Week!
