PICS

On a perfect night for racing at Regis College in Massachusetts, a handful of Granite Staters took on the region’s best in an invitational elite mile. That’s right. Two events only. Girls mile and the boys mile. In the girls mile, NH had Oyster River’s Mackenzie Cook and Haley Kavanagh competing. Throw in PEA’s Tenley Nelson, who lives in Exeter, NH and you have 3 from NH who placed in the top 6! Nelson placed 3rd in 4:56.07. Cook and Kavanagh ran a patient race but moved up steadily throughout placing 5th and 6th respectively in 4:57.06 and 4:57.38.

On the boys side, PEA’s Byron Grevious won leading early on and gradually turning the screws to cross in 4:07.62. Also running a patient race, Bedford’s Jacob Redman moved up over the second half to place 6th in 4:08.89. Coe-Brown’s Jamie Lano also nabbed an invite to this one and placed 12th overall.

Congrats to all!
