2024 NHTFCA Clinic and Surprise!!!

Coaches!!

The New Hampshire Track & Field Coaches Association will hold their “Annual Coaches Clinic” at Merrimack Valley High School, on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024.

The clinic is free for all NH high school cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field coaches and has become a must-attend on every coach’s calendar. It is a grass roots learn-from-one-another clinic where coaches teach coaches, or at least share information or what works from them!

This year is special as the NHTFCA has booked nationally acclaimed author, Chris Lear. Lear is an accomplished athlete and a renowned author. He was New Jersey State Mile Champion and 4:09 high school miler in 1992. He went on to Princeton where he was a two-time cross country captain and earned All-Ivy, All-East and All-American honors. Post-college Chris was a member of the Nike Farm Team under the guidance of Jeff Johnson. He went on to author the cult classic “Running with the Buffaloes” and “Sub 4:00: Alan Webb and the Quest for the Fastest Mile”. His next book, written in collaboration with Sean Brosnan and Andrew Greif, is “Redefining Fast: How Newbury Park Became the Greatest High School Team in History”.

The Clinic also features:

  • Pole Vault 101 and Safety Certification – Dyrace Maxfield
