Congratulations to Hopkinton’s Maddy Lane as she qualified for her 2nd consecutive Nike Cross Nationals by placing 4th overall in 17:55! Lane, the 2025 New England Champ, improved from a 5th place finish last year when she crossed in 18:38. What a run! And now Lane will make a return trip to Portland, Oregon in 2 weeks to take on the nation’s best at Nike Cross Nationals. Wow!!! What a season!

NH’s top team Hanover placed 11th in the Northeast! Megan Faris once again led the way placing 29th in 19:04, Millie Larrick was next in 76th with Aria Deeb right next to her in 77th. Phillips Exeter had a great showing placing 16th. They were led by Ava Bullock (27th) and Harper Peters (62nd). Oyster River was right behind them in 17th and were led by Olivia Kavanagh, Neely Roy, and Maddy Cook. Hopkinton girls placed 26th in the Northeast. In addition to Lane, Maisie Emerson placed 73rd.
On the boys side, Pinkerton placed 6th right in front of New England Champ Bishop Hendricken. In one of the more competitive northeast regionals in recent memory, the Long Red Line was led by Jason Robie’s 15th place All-Northeast performance popping off a 15:59. Joseph Gustavson, Trainor Mailloux, and Sean Hayes finished within 3 seconds of one another from 16:45-16:48 to finish 64th, 66th, 71st. They were part of 4 team battle separated by just 35 points. Hendricken was 13 points behind for 7th.

Congratulations to PEA’s Bocelli Howland-Vlahakis as he put on a master class of patience to place 2nd overall and punch his ticket to Portland and Nike Cross Nationals. He demonstrated enormous patience not unleashing his final push until the last field loop to cross in 15:22. He along with teammate Owen Welch, who unleashed a 16:39 good for 56th, led PEA to an incredible 11th place finish. The youngsters of Coe-Brown placed 19th overall in the Northeast. Led by Patrick Youngs, the Black Bears once again sported a great pack time of 26 seconds.
Notable individuals begins with Keene’s Sullivan Sturtz who placed 27th in 16:14. Fall Mountain’s Elijah Bodanza placed 38th in 16:25 with Concord’s Josiah Conley crossing right behind in 16:27.
