Maddy Lane Takes on NXN!

LIVE FREE WEBCAST

LIVE RESULTS

Its back!  Nike Cross Nationals is back and with it, once again, NH is represented! New England Champ, Hopkinton’s Maddy Lane makes her return to NXN for the 2nd consecutive year and will be toeing the line at 1:05pm EST on Saturday.  Above is the link to the free webcast, so tune in and support! If you are more of a results personality, we also provide the live results link as well.

Maddy is already in Oregon, and she has taken over our Instagram (@nhxctf) to share her experience with all of you! She experienced a running tour of Nike World Headquarters on Thursday followed by course tours today (Friday).  Of course the race is Saturday and how will she fare? Keep in mind, Lane won the D3 title (again), placed 2nd to Brooks National qualifier Alexis Paterna, but then returned the favor to claim the New England title at Thetford the week after! As a participant last year, Lane has already experienced the density of NXN, the most competitive High School XC race in the nation every year. The best teams and individuals in the nation competing on the same, usually soft, Glendoveer Golf Course! This week’s forecast does call for a bit of rain, so expect a muddy affair, which is fairly normal for NXN in Oregon!

**Most noteworthy is PEA’s Bocelli Howland-Vhalakis adds to the Granite State reps as he also qualified and will be competing tomorrow in the mud and fun which is Glendoveer Golf Course! The New England Boarding School Champ used a ton of patience at NXR to be one of those last standing to punch his ticket. A true strength runner, the muddy conditions could play right into his hands!

Send good vibes NH!!!
