Exeter’s Lexi Paterna Takes on Brooks Nationals!

Exeter’s D1 Champ Lexi Paterna heads to San Diego this week to take on Brooks Nationals at historical Balboa Park. Brooks Nationals, formerly Foot Locker, formerly Kinney Nationals, is the oldest national cross country meet. Since 1979, it has assembled the best individual xc harriers in the United States to decide who truly is the best of the best in the USA. Because of her 6th place finish at Brooks Northeast Regional in Boston Thanksgiving weekend, Paterna gets her shot to race the very best in what usually is great conditions in sunny California!

She has agreed to takeover the NHXCTF instagram account to share her experience. Let’s support her by liking her contributions as well as watching the Free Webcast on Saturday at 12:15pm our time!!!!

Finally, one of her coaches, Jeff Moretti did some extensive research and below is the all-time list for every Granite Stater who has ever qualified for Brooks Nationals. What a list!
