We are one month away from States, and the Battlenotes are heating up! Athletes are pushing their limits to make sure they aren’t left behind. Make your move with confidence and find yourself on here next week!
High Jump Girls 10th Spot–4’8” Boys 10th Spot–5’3”
The girls’ Top 10 is holding steady at 4’8”. For the boys, the bar went up, you now need to clear at least 5’3”. Congrats to Abel Clement (Coe-Brown) for jumping 5’3” and into the Top 10 this weekend!
Long Jump Girls 10th Spot–14’10.75” Boys 10th Spot–18’3”
The girls long jump had one newcomer this weekend, Hannah Young (Belmont). She jumped 14’10.75” The boys standard remains the same from last week at 18’3”.
Shot put Girls 10th Spot–26’11” Boys 10th Spot–42’7.5”
No new names this week, but the distance moved out significantly. The girls’ Top 10 cutoff jumped nearly a foot to 26′ 11”, and the boys’ standard grew to 42′ 7.5”.
55m Hurdles Girls 10th Spot–9.88 Boys 10th Spot–9.44
There were six girls, all in the top 10, who ran season bests over this past weekend lowering the standard to 9.88. There were no performances to jump into the top 10 for the boys.
55m Girls 10th Spot–7.94 Boys 10th Spot–6.89
In the girls 55m Dash there were no newcomers in the top 10 and only one athlete improving on their time. Riley Hawkes (Coe Brown) lowered her time to 7.79.
The boys saw Joshua Pettingel (Milford) sprint his way into the top 10 with a 6.81.
300m Girls 10th Spot–45.67 Boys 10th Spot–37.54
The girls 300 has one newcomer in the top 10, Elizabeth Carty (Oyster River) ran 45.49. The boys had three newcomers in the top 10! Jacob Hoesch (Hollis/Brookline) finds himself in the 5th spot running 36.56! Samuel Nunoo-Quarcoo (Oyster River) ran 37.14 and Gavin Buxton (Bow) ran 37.54.

600m Girl 10th Spots–1:50.08 Boys 10th Spot–1:30.78
The girls rewrote the Top 10 as much as they could, dropping the time over two seconds to 1:50.08, with eight of the Top 10 times coming from this weekend! Samantha Swanbon (Souhegan) lowered the top time to 1:38.04! Rylee Coates (Milford) 1:44.81, Macy Sawyer (Gilford) 1:46.58, Caitrin Bergeron (Pembroke) 1:47.41, and Annabelle Lovett (Coe-Brown) 1:49.20 all joined the Top 10 this weekend!
The boys welcomed Thomas Arnoldy (Souhegan) to the Top 10 this weekend. A big season best for Aaron Hughes (St. Thomas Aquinas) improving over three seconds and jumping up to the 4th spot with his 1:29.04!
1000m Girl 10th Spots–3:19.59 Boys 10th Spot–2:47.40
Two newcomers to the Top 10 for the girls; Erin O’Shea (Mascenic) 3:11.28, and Kaitlin O’Shea (Mascenic) 3:13.24. The boys welcomed Ben Geoffrey (Merrimack Valley) 2:45.96 and Bryce Palmer (Newport) 2:47.31 to the Top 10. I have to mention Oliver Schartner (St. Thomas Aquinas) 2:37.74. He improved over eight seconds!
1500m Girl 10th Spots–5:14.26 Boys 10th Spot–4:24.23
Neely Roy (Oyster River) 5:07.11 is the only newcomer. She finds herself safely in the Top 10 at the four spot. Her teammates Olivia Kavanagh 4:51.46, Madelyn Cook 4:55.90, and Haley Benzanson 5:14.26 also ran season bests! The boys saw one newcomer in the Top 10, Garrett Sellers (Oyster River) 4:23.13. This event had a lot of shuffling as six boys in the Top 10 ran seasons best!
3000m Girl 10th Spots–11:42.83 Boys 10th Spot–9:35.95
Rachel Sixon (Milford) 11:29.60 and Leah Unger (Raymond) 11:42.83 are now in the Top 10 with their performances over the weekend. Only one newcomer to Top 10 for the boys. Peyton Joslyn (Monadnock) ran 9:00.69. Patrick Youngs and Samuel Youngs (Coe-Brown) both ran season best with Samuel improving over 20 seconds!
