New Balance Nationals begins tomorrow and runs through the weekend. This 4 day extravaganza brings together the best of the best from across the nation to figure out who can lay claim to All-American and/or National Champ status. With standards tightening yearly, just qualifying is an amazing accomplishment. Historically, NH has sent a handful of athletes willing to brave the winter conditions for training even longer to test their mettle against the very best. With it being held at the Track at New Balance in Boston, our back yard, most opt to make the short trip down each year. With that said, we are simply rolling out a daily guide to help you know when to follow live results or tune into the free livestream to support those from the 603!!! Disclaimer: it can be tricky to identify NH athletes as they have to compete unattached or for a club. Feel free to email if we miss anyone!
Thursday

1:00pm CBNA’s fab freshmen Sammy Youngs and Broden Cox compete in the freshmen mile.
4:30pm Memorial’s Elijah Torres (20’1.5″) competes in the Freshmen Long Jump
4:43pm BG’s super soph Ethan Fischer takes on the 5000 meters. Could this be his best event?
5:19pm Hopkinton’s Maddy Lane toes the line in the 5000 meters. Keep in mind the 2025 New England XC Champ does not have a team to train with this season!

6:17pm Pinkerton boys take on the best in the 4x800m relay. Seemed like these guys were just scratching the surface at New Englands, so we are looking forward to this!
7:32pm Exeter Girls in the 4x800m relay. This team is so good, they literally have to wait until nationals to get some great competition to push them. They are the fastest team in NH history. How often do we talk podium or better with a 4×800 at nationals? Let’s go!!!

11:57am Bedford’s Barry, Hopkinton’s Lane, and Exeter’s Lexi Paterna roll the Girls Mile. Remember Paterna has already clocked a 4:44 when fresh for the event. This will be super interesting. Also consider Barry and Lane. This will be their 3rd event as well, but with nice spacing between events given the schedule, expect big things! After all these 3 are truly national class athletes!
4:15pm Always at the end, even over a 4 day meet, Exeter and Nashua North Girls wrap up the season with one last 4x400m Relay!
