Congratulations to the Coe-Brown Boys as they placed a strong 4th at Nike Cross Northeast Regionals with an average time of 16:52 on the very challenging Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls, NY. This marks the highest place by a NH team since Pinkerton placed 3rd with an average time of 16:48 back in 2015. The Bears sported their typical strong pack time (29 seconds) with Aidan Cox (22nd, 16:39), Luke Tkaczyk (30th, 16:47), Dawson Dubois (34th, 16:51), Carter Sylvester (28th, 16:54), and Logan Mihelich (54th, 17:08). Londonderry also competed placing 23rd and were led by Ryan Young (17:23) and Matt Griffin (17:38). Mascenic’s Landen Vaillancourt also competed placing 59th in 17:09.
On the girls side, co-NH #1s Souhegan and Concord placed 9th and 10th respectively. The Sabers were once again led by Chloe Trudel and Georgia Jones who placed 9th (19:07) and 19th (19:27) respectively to garner All-Northeast honors! Also socring for the Souhegan were Mackenzie Hayden (19:59), Masho Primmer (21:37) and Audrey Littlefield (21:52).
Concord, competing as Connolly Running Club, once again had a phenomenal 1-4 pack time of 32 seconds with Sophie Hopkins (53rd, 20:18), Morgane Orcutt (61st, 20:29), Katherine Kennedy (68th, 20:40) and Molly Nyhan (81st, 20:50).
Coe-Brown also competed as Black Bear XC placing 18th. They were led by Abigail O’Connor (57th, 20:24), Sheldyn Fisher (62nd, 20:29) and Mallory Taylor (108th, 21:21). Nashua South competed in the Open race and placed 11th overall. They were led by Meghan Conway who placed 18th overall in 21:12.
