Congratulations to Bedford’s Mikita Barry as she has been named the 2024 Gatorade NH XC Player of the Year. From the outset of her debut cross country season, Barry raced with a unique fearlessness as she simply attacked each course regardless of level of difficulty. She won the Division 1 XC Title. She won the Meet of Champions. She was top NH finisher at New Englands placing an amazing 3rd down at Wickham Park in CT. And, oh yeah, she currently sits atop NH rankings in the 1000 meters and the 600 meters. These performances are so good they rank nationally at #15 and #22 respectively!
