What started as a 1 event meet intended for the most elite milers in the Northeast has now evolved into a 3 event high school meet featuring current elite athletes in the mile, 800 and 400 meters. Last year, we were able to combine the BSR Elite Scholastic Meet with the inaugural NH Distance Festival but this year with the expanded format, the BSR Elite Scholastic Meet Presented by Marathon Sports and New Balance will be held independently at UMass Lowell on Friday May 15th. As previous years, and especially last year demonstrated, this night promises to feature some of the best racing we will see the entire season! Get your popcorn ready! Below are the specific details!

As with previous years, the ‘Seeded’ heat (fastest) will be invite only. Registration will be done via a link sent from the meet directors. Athletes interested in the seeded heat should email one of the meet directors. The Seeded heat in each race will receive a racing kit, spikes, trainers and more.
The expanded version offers ‘Unseeded‘ sections as a build up to the featured heater heats; however, there is a standard (below) to enter the meet and its unseeded sections. The first unseeded heat in each race will receive a racing singlet. Fields will be limited to three heats of each race. To preserve the ideal size and length of the meet, fields will be limited to 3 heats each. All entries will be verified and once field capacities are reached, entries will close. If they meet the standards below, athletes can sign up on Direct Athletics. If an athlete registers and is later moved to a seeded heat, they will be refunded.

**Special notice for the NH Distance Festival: The winner of the fastest heat in each of the 1 mile races, girls and boys, will receive an automatic free entry into the BSR Elite Scholastic Meet. Their time will determine whether they are in the Seeded section or Unseeded heats, but they will be in! what an incentive!
Since this is a USATF SANCTIONED event, athletes will compete either unattached or with their club team. Once again, this meet is for High School athletes only.
Standards to Enter Unseeded Sections:
| Event | Girls | Boys |
| Mile | 5:05 | 4:22 |
| 800 | 2:17 | 1:57 |
| 400 | 58.0 | 50.0 |
