That’s right! It has been 32 years since Larry Martin mailed the first copies of the NHCC newsletter chronicling cross country in the Granite State. The front page would look very much like our list below, so carrying on with that tradition, we present this brief annual post welcoming the XC season! While teams from around the Granite State have been preparing through training, summer runs and camps, we have been researching to understand the complexion of the 2026 season.
Additionally, last year it became official as the website began being powered by Marathon Sports (former Runners Alley). Their partnership with NH is already paying off as they have now opened a store in North Conway! The White Mountain region thanks you!
Continuing this year is the Marathon Sports scholastic partnership with New Balance to help bring you the best scholastic coverage in the nation! Also continuing will be Davio’s “Faster” series where he will chronicle the season for 2 teams.
