That’s right! As NH flexed its muscle in a multitude of events, Exeter’s Jackie Gaughan not only claimed another New England title, but broke US Olympian Lynn Div 2 Indoor 2018 championship-470Jennings (Bromfield HS, MA) New England Two-Mile record of 10:10 in the process by scorching a 10:09.20 at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.  Congratulations should also go to West’s Julia Robitaille as she placed 3rd in the same race after claiming a NE title of her own in the Mile in 4:55.22.

Winnacunnet’s Billy Powers claimed another NE title in the High Hurdles in 7.40, while Milford’s Viankah Williams continued her comeback in fine style as she soared to a NE title in the Long Jump (18’0.75″).

Perhaps NH’s most powerful event came in the Shot Put as Kath Merchant (Lebanon), Sarah Williams (Dover) and Kathleen Collins (Coe-Brown) placed 4th, 5th and 6th respectively.  Also medaling on the girls’ side were Raymond’s Anna Harmon (5th in the 1000).

Claiming top 6 finishes for the boys were Pinkerton’s Jadyn Ruimwijk (5th in the 300) and Adam Spencer (4th High Hurdles),
