When did you start competing in track and field?Div I 2019 Indoor Championship-235

I first competed in 6th grade at Pennichuck Middle School.  I would run the mile and the 400m.

What is your favorite track and field event?  What are your personal bests?

My favorite event is the mile.  My personal best is probably my 3000m time of 8:46 at D1s

Describe your favorite competition memory:

My favorite memory is David Vorbach and Max Ireland taking 1st and 2nd at MOCs and I came in 11th.  We got a 2nd as a team.

If you could do any event in track and field, which one would it be and why?

Pole Vault because it looks cool.

Describe your favorite workout:

During x-country season we do a workout of 9 x 1000s at a sub 3:10 pace

How does your coach motivate you?

He challenges us to reach our fullest potential each season and also Mrs. Kobs’ banana bread

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?

Thailand- It’s tropical, has great sightseeing and good food.

What is your go-to pre-meet meal?

Cheez-its with Frank’s Red Hot except race day then I have a peanut butter sandwich.

Do you have a favorite prerace song?

Div I 2019 Indoor Championship-237Be a Man from Mulan

What motivates you most to do well?

In elementary school, all the girls loved the fastest kid.

What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

Swim around the world

What is the best advice or quote ever given to you?

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”

If you go to college, do you plan to compete in track and field? And where?

I’d like to compete in college but no plans yet.

What is your favorite thing about Track and Field?

The sense of family and comradery even with our competitors.
