MV’s Kristie Schoffield: NCAA CHAMPION!!!!

Congratulations to Merrimack Valley alum Kristie Schoffield as she won the NCAA Title at 800 meters yesterday in Eugene, Oregon.

Kristie – your home state of NH has always been extremely proud of the person you are as evidenced by your personal shout-out to MV Coach Dave Irving and high school teammate Walker John on national TV meeting; the definition of genuine.

We simply want to join you and others in the celebration of this unique, elusive, elite achievement.  It takes tenacity, perseverance, endless motivation, teamwork and utter belief in yourself to do something as special as winning an NCAA title.  You have always been an incredible example to others, especially young, aspiring athletes in our small but proud state.
