Pinkerton Girls, Exeter’s Gaughan Win at Woods Trail in VT!!!

Results Courtesy of Lancertiming!!!Thetford 2-3

The Pinkerton Trail Blazers and Exeter’s Jackie Gaughan employed patient racing to win the 25th Annual Woods Trail Run in Thetford, Vt. this past weekend on the challenging course.  Matter of fact, NH girls took the top 4 places individually with Coe-Brown’s Elisabeth Danis, Bedford’s Leya Salis, and MV’s Kristie Schoffield placing 2nd – 4th respectively.  And in a battle of NH’s top 2 ranked teams, it was Pinkerton who raced up challenging Morty’s Monster to come out on the other side with a lead over Coe-Brown.  They would go on to win by 17 points.

Inter-Lakes’ Cameron Daly rolled to a very strong 2nd place with Timberlane’s Liam Kimball placing 6th representing the 2 Granite State in the top 10.  NH placed 2 teams in the top 10 with Coe-Brown 6th and Nashua North 7th.

  1. Some great performances by NH athletes at Thetford. Congrats especially to the Pinkerton girls for doing the impossible and to Cam as that Saturday’s time would put him right there at the last two New Englands at Thetford. Nice work!
