Pinkerton Academy of Derry ran away with the team title on the boys side with an amazing total of 150.5 points, while Division 2 power Coe-Brown edged Nashua North for 2nd by just 1.5 points!

Jadyn Ruimwijk of Pinkerton dominated the sprints using his strength to pull away in both the 100 (11.00) and 200 meters (22.34).

The 800 run didn’t disappoint as 6 boys broke the 2 minute mark.  The race was won by Noah Bellomo of Alvirne in 1:57.01, after previously winning the 1600 meters in 4:18.19.  Noah looked exceptionally strong at the end of both races.  The cooler temperatures helped the distance runners quite a bit as the boys 3200 meters featured 8 boys under 10 minutes.  The winner from gun to tape was David Vorbach  of Nashua North, who cruised to victory in 9:33.76.

Terrell Lewis
of Nashua South was a double winner on the night winning the high jump (6’ 2”) and the 110 high hurdles in 14.92.  He nearly pulled off the triple win, but finished runner up in the 300 hurdles to Adam Spencer of Pinkerton. UNH bound Jordan Buckmire of Nashua North won both horizontal jumps taking the triple with a distance of 45’ 5.5” and long jump 20’ 1”.

Coe-Brown had an incredible meet in the pole vault with 3 boys over 11’ 0” led by winner Tanner Richards with a clearance of 12’0”. Tanner’s teammate, Isaiah Allen of Coe-Brown has an argument for athlete of the meet as he scored 26 points winning the discus (135’5”) and finishing second in the javelin (148’6”) and shot (44’ 0.5”).  Colin Bigelow of Pinkerton won the javelin and Joseph Allen of Nashua North won the shot put.

Similar to the boys meet the girls team score was dominated by Pinkerton Academy of Derry.  Pinkerton won the meet with 114 points far ahead of second place Nashua South (67), and Concord (50).

Sophomore Amelia Graves of Pinkerton had a monster meet.  She won the 100 meters, finished second in the 400 meters, to defending Division 1 Champ Grace Devanny of Concord,  and in the javelin, while running a leg on the runner up 4×400 meter relay team.  Not to be outdone was her teammate Brittany Johnson who won both the 1600 meter run in 5:07.20 and 800 meters in 2:19.10.  She also ran a leg on the 4×400 meter relay team.

Katya Rojco and Katy Nippert of Salem High went 1-2 in the long jump.  Sarah Williams of Dover had an impressive day in the throws winning the shot put (35’ 3”) and finished second to Kathleen Collins of Coe-Brown in the discus.  Lastly on her home track, senior Siaoli Wright of Merrimack held of a late charge from Rojco of Salem and Ellie Johnston of Exeter to win the 300 meter hurdles in a time of 46.84.

Lets hope for some warm weather over the next couple of weeks as we head in the championships! Congrats and good luck to all!
