Virtual Race Series: MID-SEASON TRACK CLASSIC

NHTF!!!  Last week, the ladies took home their first victory of the 2020 vitrual season over Massachusetts and Rhode Island in the Tri-State Invitational as part of the Virtual Race Series put on by Bay State Running and Ocean State Running. Overall, you all continue to represent the 603!!!

This week and next, they are holding the MID-SEASON TRACK CLASSIC!  That’s right, for this meet, they’re giving you more than a week to submit your performance or performances. Rather than being held just for 1 weekend, they’re giving you an extra week.

From Thursday May 7 until Sunday May 16, you’ll be able to submit performances. Here’s another added feature. If you don’t like what you did the first time during the nine-day stretch, you can do it again and use the best of the two performances. Pretty cool, right?

Events include:

100m, 200m, 400m 800m, mile and 5K.

Please register for your event or events by clicking the link below. In the next few days, they will provide a link to add in your results.

Again, we ask that you adhere to social distancing guidelines. Good luck to all in the Mid-Season Track Classic, and please be safe out there. This one we’re hoping will be the biggest one yet.

SCHEDULE CHANGES TO BOTH STATE MEETS

8:00am D1 schools arrive (Buses drop off and then park at Plymouth Elementary school)

9:00 Field Events start

10:30 Running Events start

1:15ish D1 meet ends

1:15-2:15 D1 buses pick up teams in the circle 

3:15pm D2 schools arrive (Do not arrive early. Buses drop off and then park at Plymouth Elementary school)

4:15 Field Events start

5:45 Running Events start

8:30ish D2 meet ends

8:30 D2 buses pick up teams in the circle

A gap has been included between sessions in case of a delay of some kind during the D1 meet. Incoming / Outgoing Buses can NOT be allowed to overlap like last year.
