2020 LAST DANCE COMPLETE RESULTS

Great job to all who virtually competed once again or if you entered your performances for the first time!  You once again rocked theDiv I State Championship 2019-235.jpg LET’S GO Virtual Race Series with fantastic results along with Massachusetts and Maine during the LAST DANCE NEW ENGLAND OPEN!  As this is the conclusion of our series, the performances dropped were pretty notable. Remember this is time trialing not racing!!!

The distance races were once again the most popular and many saved their best for last.  Providence-bound Caroline Fischer (BG) submitted her first entries as she posted a 10:31.87 and a 4:57.2 in the 3200 and 1600 meters respectively.  Also doubling and placing second in both was Coe-Brown’s Addison Cox who ran 11:12.4 and 5:08.0 for the 2 events.  The 3200 saw special Maine guest star, Delaney Hesler of Bonny Eagle also post a fast personal record of 11:20.7 in the deuce.

On the guys side, our other Mainer, Ben Greene of Falmouth blasted a 4:18 in the 1600 meters, but the Granite State showed out as well!  On the first weekend, Coe-Brown teammates Luke Tkaczyk and Aidan Cox pushed each to huge PRs in the 3200 rolling to 9:19.8 and 9:20.1 respectively.  Notably, Windham’s Rohan Rai posted a 9:36.  Tkaczyk and Cox also posted personal records in the 1600 with a 4:22.5 and a 4:24.2 but were split by Pinkerton’s Stephen Connelly, who flew to a 4:22.7.

The 800 saw Fiona Doherty repeat as the winner with a 2:22.48 and Tkaczyk coming back again to win the boys side with a 2:00.0.  The Broad Jump once again saw Massachusetts Kerry O’Connor and NH’s Paul Marchand win with leaps of 7’9″ and 10’4″ respectively.  O’Connor would also win the 200 in 26.2 and 200 in 26.1 while Marchand would win the 100 in 10.9.  O’Connor would complete her week by winning the 400 with a 59.6 clocking.

And with that the LET’S GO Virtual Series comes to a conclusion.  We certainly hope this helped some of you make it through without a true season.  While this was fun, let’s hope we never have to do it again!!! 🙂

Stay healthy!!!
