With a ton of work done in a very short time, a group in the Upper Valley Area, are offering the NH State Middle School D1 and D2 Championships for 2024. Same date as originally scheduled, this coming Saturday, October 19th in Hanover.
A DirectAthletics link is now open for coaches to submit rosters with all D1 and D2 schools included. A meet director has been tabbed (Brie Swenson)! A professional timer has been hired (thanks Chris Benson & Speed Sport Timing). They are offering both non-scoring and scoring races, but at this late date the plan is to consolidate D1 and D2 schools into running together. If there is a huge response of schools/athletes singing up, they will revisit separate D1 and D2 races. Even with the consolidated race, separate D1 and D2 champs will be crowned. So Middle School Coaches, show your support for this opportunity for NH middle schoolers by please acting quickly to register your teams using the link above!
And as always NH Cross Country will be their to cover it all! Expect a meet document later today with specific information regarding location, course, schedule of events, etc! We will post this to our Middle School States Meet Hub!
