The 76th Clipper Relays truly lived up to expectations as 18 D1 and D2 teams from across NH tested their depth contesting relays
both on the track and on the field. The Bedford girls and Pinkerton boys, both favorites to win the Division 1 title in three weeks, won the team titles rather easily. Bedford simply dominated winning 9 events including 6 of the 7 field events. Pinkerton won by 35 over Division 1 upstart Coe-Brown. Pinkerton won 5 events and truly spread their points across all the disciplines of track and field.
Although the team competition was fierce, the element of “fun”, that can be brought out only in relay events, was evident throughout the night culminating with the Buffalo Relay and Chicken Dance.
